Rumors of a new iMac pro are rife ideal now with Apple still to bring Apple silicon to its high-end all-in-one Mac.
Now, a new report suggests that the freshen will come in spring of 2022, with the switch to a mini-LED screen also in the cards.
The news comes by means of display analyst Ross Young, with the report suggesting that the display size will remain at 27 inches but with the addition of mini-LED technology. The use of mini-LED will allow Apple to offer promotion 120Hz freshen rates, with that freshen rate also being variable just like iphone 13 and the newer MacBook Pro.

Expected in the spring as Apple brings its pro motion technology to the iMac.
Some rumors had also suggested that the iMac pro would use a larger display than the current model, but young doesn’t appear to believe that to be the case.
Apple’s iMac pro is still awaiting the step away from Intel processors and it’s possible it will benefit from some variation on an M2 chip. The M2 is likely to be announced alongside a MacBook Air freshen next year, although nothing is known with any certainty ideal now. Whatever chip it gains, it’s expected the new iMac pro will be an exceptional maker in terms of performance.
